Private Equity Diamonds awarded during the gala ceremony at the InterContinental Hotel

The award ceremony crowned the fourth edition of the “Private Equity Forum & Awards Gala” conference organized by the Executive Club. In the prestigious competition “Private Equity Diamonds” under the auspices of the Polish Private Equity Association (PSIK), the most outstanding players in the Private Equity industry in Poland were honored in 10 categories. For the sixth time, the leaders of the dynamically developing Polish Private Equity sector gathered at the “Private Equity Forum & Awards Gala” conference to the debate on the most critical issues for the development of the industry. The “Private Equity Diamonds” competition is an integral part of the conference organized by the Executive Club starting from its third edition in 2012. This year’s “Private Equity Diamonds” competition involved two stages. In the first stage, the competition candidates applied by themselves, they could also be recommended by a member of the Jury or members of PSIK. The second stage of the competition unfolded on two levels – in five categories: Fund of the Year, Bank of the Year, Corporate Finance Advisor, Law Firm (Transaction Services), Private Equity Personality – the winners were chosen by popular vote of PSIK members, in the remaining categories the winners were selected by vote of the Jury members.

“This year’s edition of the Competition was special. This uniqueness was expressed in a particular involvement of the environment in the idea of the competition. In the first stage of the competition we had as many as 128 applications, what was a record result,” said Barbara Nowakowska, the President of the Jury, director of the Polish Private Equity Association, in a speech opening the awards gala.
