Innova Capital Wins Recognition for Stellar Fundraising Achievement

In London, on 20th May, Innova Capital won the CEE Fund of the Year Award 2010 presented by Unquote magazine. The award recognized Innova’s achievement in raising €388m for the Innova/5 fund during the financial crisis of 2008-2009. The presenters specifically cited the “great track record” of Innova, which allowed its team to persuade Investors to support them in such uncertain times. Indeed, the interest in the fund was such that the fundraising moved rapidly from its First Close, just 10 weeks after its start, to its Final Close in November 2009.

After receiving the award Mr. Steven Buckley, Innova Founding Partner said: “We are pleased to be recognized by unQuote through this award. But, more importantly, we are grateful to our investors for their continuing support and confidence in our team.”

This is the latest in a series of awards recognizing Innova’s expertise: last year, the PolCard investment won the Unquote CEE Large Exit of the Year 2008 – and previously, the EPEA Deal of the Year 2007 was awarded for Innova’s investment in ACE (Automotive Components Europe).
